Church and civil status registers contain a wealth of information, about births / baptisms, marriages and deaths / funerals. Provided that these are still available and have been digitised by the State Archives, they can be consulted via 'Digitised records'.

Thanks to the work of our volunteers, you have access to more than 42 million names via 'Persons in the database of the State Archives. Please note that this database is far from complete, but it can be the first step of your research.
